Support for HBM2 featuring double the bandwidth-per-pin over previous generation HBM. ĪMD's Vega has new memory hierarchy with high-bandwidth cache and its controller. Vega targets increased instructions per clock, higher clock speeds, and support for HBM2. Vega was originally announced at AMD's CES 2017 presentation on 5 January 2017, alongside the Zen line of CPUs. AMD later released the details of the Vega architecture. Partial specifications of the architecture and Vega 10 GPU were announced with the Radeon Instinct MI25 in December 2016. The Vega microarchitecture was AMD's high-end graphics cards line, and is the successor to the R9 300 series enthusiast Fury products. 4.2 Radeon VII branded discrete graphics.Later in January 2019, the Radeon VII was announced based on the 7nm FinFET node manufactured by TSMC. In September 2018 AMD announced several Vega APUs in their Athlon line of products. February 2018 saw the release of two desktop APUs, the Ryzen 3 2200G and the Ryzen 5 2400G, and the Ryzen Embedded V1000 line of APUs. These were followed by two mobile APUs, the Ryzen 2500U and Ryzen 2700U, in October 2017. It included the RX Vega 56 and the RX Vega 64, priced at $399 and $499 respectively. The lineup was released on 14 August 2017. The series consists of desktop graphics cards and APUs aimed at desktops, mobile devices, and embedded applications. These GPUs use the Graphics Core Next (GCN) 5th generation architecture, codenamed Vega, and are manufactured on 14 nm FinFET technology, developed by Samsung Electronics and licensed to GlobalFoundries. Please in case you have any experience with this system would you be so kind sharing some insights and tips on how to make games run better on it? (Drivers, utilities etc.
AMD RADEON RX580 OPENGL 4.3 DRIVER
World of warcraft supports DX11 as of patch 4.3.X I believe, so these driver that I'm running in theory should give out maximum out of AMD Radeon HD 7640g + 7670M switchable graphics or I'm I wrong? I feel like 7670m should be enough alone to run world of warcraft on medium to high settings but due to the dual-graphics mode things in game get rather messy with the fps drops from 80-20 and so on.

In case it is impossible, are there any moded drivers for this dual graphics system that might give more performance in games? I would like to know if there is any possible way and/or software to achieve this? I tried bios but this machine running UEFI InsydeH20 bios rev 3.7 and acer locked out all of the options inside it so I can't even access the advanced tab and change any options in regards to which graphics is to be primary. Now I'm not quite satisfied with the switchable graphics and I was wondering if it were possible to somehow force disable APU 7640g and force use only 7670M dedicated card on this system? I'm currently using the following AMD driver (removed ACER drivers using Atiman tool):ĭriver Packaging Version 9.012-121219a-151587C-ATIĢD Driver File Path /REGISTRY/MACHINE/SYSTEM/ControlSet001/Control/Class//0000ĪMD VISION Engine Control Center Version 2012.1219.1521.27485 AMD Radeon HD 7640G + 7670M dual graphics I'm new around and just recently bought the following system:
